Welcome to SauveTonPain. By using our application, you accept these terms of use.

1. Purpose of the Service

The application allows you to:

  • Scan food product barcodes
  • Detect expiry dates via image recognition (OCR)
  • Manage a personal product inventory
  • Organize products by storage location
  • Track consumption statistics

2. User Account

Using the application requires creating an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. The information provided must be accurate and up to date. Accounts are strictly personal and non-transferable.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Available plans:

  • Free: basic features with limited quota
  • Premium: extended quota and unlimited locations (monthly/annual)
  • Lifetime: lifetime premium access (one-time payment)

Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Automatic renewal requires cancellation 24 hours before the end of the current period. AI scan credits are final and non-refundable.

4. Use of the Service

Usage must comply with these terms. It is prohibited to:

  • Circumvent technical limitations
  • Use the service for unlawful purposes
  • Disrupt the operation of the service
  • Resell or transfer access to a third party

5. Image Recognition (OCR)

The date detection technology is based on artificial intelligence. While we continuously strive to improve accuracy, we cannot guarantee perfect detection. The user must verify detected dates. SauveTonPain cannot be held liable for detection errors.

6. Product Data

Product information comes from Open Food Facts and is provided for informational purposes only. No guarantee is given regarding the accuracy or completeness of this data.

7. Usage Data Collection

SauveTonPain collects anonymized usage data to improve the service (navigation, scans, settings). No personally identifiable data is collected for this purpose. Processing is carried out by PostHog, hosted on servers within the European Union.

8. Intellectual Property

The SauveTonPain application, its design, source code and content are protected by intellectual property laws. Any reproduction, modification or distribution without authorization is prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is". SauveTonPain shall not be held liable for:

  • Temporary service interruptions
  • Any exceptional data loss
  • Indirect damages
  • Consumption of expired products

10. Modification of Terms

These terms may be modified at any time. Changes will be notified through the application. Continued use after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the application settings, resulting in the permanent deletion of your data. SauveTonPain reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in case of violation of these terms.

12. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent French courts.
